The Black or White Dancers is the group of performers of the ‘MJ Italian Foundation’ association.
The shows that the group create are inspired by the artistic work of Michael Jackson and they are created in an innovative way with the aim of drawing on the creativity of each component of the group.
This aspect makes it possible to perform not only mere copies of the King of Pop’s immense repertory but to also create new original versions that tap into Michael’s famous dance steps and also into different dance styles such as hip hop, modern dance, tap dancing and many other dance styles.
This kind of show fulfils the desire of the group to pay tribute to MJ as the greatest source of inspiration for many dancers and artists and, at the same time, to offer joyful occasions for recreation, fun and culture to the audience of the events proposed by our association that always joins important charity projects with overall happy moments.
The shows created by the Black or White Dancers are derived from concerts, performances and videos of the artistic genius of MJ, blended to a choreography able to propose our vision of his musical repertory to give our personal homage to the King of Pop and introduce the audience to new ideas following Michael’s magic and humanitarian message.
The artistic direction of the group is managed by Stefano Pugliara, vice president of MJIF, a keen hip hop dancer.
He is in charge of the supervision of the shows but the choreography work is pursued by a team working to give each performer the chance to give his/her contribution with his/her own artistic experience.
The magic created by Michael’s shows is unique and indescribable and the intent of Black or White Dancers is to convey, with meekness and love, part of that wonderful feeling that we have when the King of Pop takes us with him into his world of dance, music and passion.
